1990 BMW 525i Revers Lights

We have changed the lights and the fues and they still dont work what could it be. Just bought the car and need to get it inspected.

There is a switch on the side of the tranny that actuates the reverse lights, it may require replacement. Shorting the wire from that switch to ground will illuminate the reverse lamps. Hope this helps.
