Increasing the mileage

Hello all,

I need to increase the mileage of my 1990, BMW 525i which has run 140k kilomters.

I have added STP fuel injector cleaner to the fuel, changed the air filter, going to change the spark plug. ZCurently my BMW is giving me 6kmpl.

is the mileage is ok for 1990BMW or can we increase it. Please advice.

What was it before. If it has decreased then I would probably try a Mass Airflow Meter, it measures the amount and density of the air entering your engine and adjusts the mixture accordingly
