2004 BMW 330 Brake light and blinker

Brakes problem
2004 BMW 330 All Wheel Drive Automatic 65,000 miles

On my dashboard a continue getting an orange-ish colored car showing that the left blinker/brake light is out. It works from the front of the left. Just blinks very quickly-but from the back it is out and so is the brake light. At first-the brake light worked fine and it was just the blinker doing this. My husband has changed the bulbs more than once and it just continues to do this a few hours or days later. Once in a great while-the right blinker will do it too-but only very briefly and for not often. Could this be a fuse? Loose wire? I would like to be able to fix it without having to pay for it to be done. And. As I live in a small city-nobody but the dealership will work on foreign cars so I have to take it there.

Look at the tail lamp connector at the lamp holder assembly. The brown wire is ground and is most likely the burnt one. I hard wire to the harness from the ground bus at the bulb holder. The parts to replace are available if needed.
