1999 BMW 328 can not go over 40 mph PLEASE HELP!

I have a 99 BMW 328i E46 engine and I just got it out of the shop with problems with the PCV valve. Everything in that area seems to be running great. Now I have a triangular light in the center of dash that comes on and also a light that says "eml". I was wondering if you can direct me on what this problem is. When I accelerate this triangular light sometmes flashes and I can not go over 40 mph and has a slow pickup speed. The RPMs will not go over around 2 1/2

The EML light means there is something wrong with the electronically controlled throttle and/or the engine wiring harness, there is a bulletin regarding this issue and a new t-body and wiring harness is called for.
