Car is the 325XI model. So I don’t know much on BMW's but I was searching through Facebook market and found a 325xi for $900.00. I asked myself not a bad deal only had one thing to fix okay. So I asked the guy, the guy said it “runs and runs roughly and that the torque converter went bad so I doesn’t move”. So I don’t know if it is the torque clutch solenoid or like the actual torque itself. But I was also wondering maybe could be the transmission? I don't know anymore haha someone help on this that’ll be appreciated.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, those are components in the transmission. Access to the torque converter requires removal of transmission to gain access. Now days most transmission shops will not simply piece together parts to make it work so they will just tell you they can only rebuild the transmission. Otherwise you would maybe have to find someone who will do side work. This is assuming the transmission isn't destroyed and require replacement. Maybe you can see if you can locate and used transmission if all else fails or cost effectiveness. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
