Is this too many miles?

Im want to buy a 1994 BMW 325i Sedan for $6000.00 but it has 160,000 miles on the car. Is this too many miles? Is the car asking price too high? The car looks like it is in great shape. I don't know alot about cars so please work with me.I also haven't heard how it runs. So should I listen to how it sounds first? :D

I would think twice about giving him $6,000 for a 94 BMW 325i. I bought my 1996 BMW 328I for $5,000 and it had only 121,000 miles on it. You should test drive it and then take it to a mechanic for an analysis on condition. Also look at the Kelly Blue Book and you will find out exactly what the 94 325I is worth depending on mileage. Hope this helps.
