Hello,

my car is a 1992 Bmw 325i automatic with about 150,000 miles on it.

my problem is that when I turn the ignition switch off the engine will shut off but my accessories in the car remain on such as the miles on the dashboard and my radio. And this is killing my battery because everything is left on.

Please if someone can help it would be much appreciated.

Thank you

This sounds like a problem in the ignition switch and possibly will require removal of the ignition lock and replacement of the ignition switch. I recommend seeking local professional assistance. Where in the country are you located? I may be able to recommend someone.

I am looking to see if there is someone in your state that is able to help and I will repost on Monday. This could be a stuck relay or something like leaving the turn signal in the wrong position.
