How much should fixing the bushings and a broken coil spring cost me? The dealer wants to charge me $700.

$700 is a bit steep, did they break it down as to parts and labor, or not?

That would be the whole job, including labor, never broke it down mor ethan that for me. Actually wouldn't give me an inspection sticker until it was done. So I was going to bring it somewhere else for another opinion. The $700 quote is from a BMW dealership. I don't hear any clunking which I would expect froma broken spring, but I do believe the bushings need repair because the steering is a little shaky at times

Ditch that repair shop, $700 is too much.

Thank you for your response, and I figured it was too much, so my real question should be, how much should I be paying?

For pricing, go to Realoem. Com and the labor costs can be viewed as the remainder. Figure about $450.
