1999 BMW 323 code 54

Car came in with code 54 rebuilt trans and relaced valve body and internal harness and speed sensors but still kicks code 54 does it need shift adapts reset or computer reflashed please help

I would have exhausted the possibility that the EGS was in need of reprogramming before rebuilding the transmission, now there are more variables and I can not access the data files that might allow me to help you until my computer is out of the repair shop, I will be back to you later on today or first thing tomorrow.
