Hi,
The car has 108,000 miles.

Engine light is on, OBDII code P0203. (3rd cylinder injector.)

When I reset the light is stays off for the duration of the drive. When I turn the car off and restart it again the light appears again and so on. It does not matter how long the car was off or on.

I checked all grounds and they seem ok, unless I missed one.

Car runs fine.

What do you think?

Thank you,

Amir

The M-44 motor in your car is what I term a problem child because of the bad luck some of them have. The engine electronics have, for lack of a better term, a ghost. I have seen them run perfectly but not pass California smog test because of a non existent fault that will not erase or reset or because the readiness monitors will not run to completion. Having said that, lets see if something can be done to help you out. I request that you try removing the #3 injector and swapping it to the #2 cylinder and seeing if the fault follows it to the #2 cylinder. If it does then replace that injector. If not then the solution will be to replace the DME.(The engine control module) Keep me posted on your findings and good luck
