Bad vibration when defroster is turned on.

My Cavalier has a very bad vibration when the defroster is turned on. Vibration at idle & low speed until about 38mph then it will stop. When speed drops to close to 30mph vibration starts again. The only time this happens is when defroster is on. This has been driving me crazy for well over a month before I noticed that the defroster was causing this. What is the problem?

It may be an a/c clutch problem as the a/c compressor works when defrost is on could also be a belt/tensioner problem as recommended replacement is 60,000 mi. Have this checked locally because a/c clutch cycles on and off and just may be at the speeds you say.
