I closed my back door one night and have not been able to open it since. The back door does not have a key hole just the remote that locks and unlocks the vehicle

Hello,

It sounds like you may have blown a fuse or the latch actuator is not working. Here are some guides to help you get the problem fixed.

You will need to remove the rear panel to access the latch.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Despite being securely closed, the open hatch light remains on. I have attempted to clean the sensor contacts as best as possible but the light still remains on. Any ideas as to how to fix this problem? Also, if I need to replace hatch contacts, do you have any DIY information for that work?

If I depress the handle there is no resistance, the window will open without problem. Is there a way to open the hatch from the inside.

It's like the door didn't shut properly, but I don't have any warning lights on.

I do not have the key for the hatch, to unlock I hit the unlock key from the inside.
