I have a question about an explorer I own its a 4 litre
sohc sport with the auto 4x4 does awheel berring going bad make a howling sound? In the front end?How hard is it to repair if so? In4 high this sound is more audible
is this prognosis common with this vehicle? Lastly do these
models have common problems with shocks?

Well firstly you didn't say how many miles?
If you are familiar with front auto-locking hubs, it's fairly easy.
Yes the howling noise or growl, is an indicator of bearing porblems! If you do it change the bearing and race!

70,000 miles and its more of a ruh ruh sound
not really familiar with auto hubs any idea where to get some lit? Thanx
