2005 Audi A4 Audi won't start, keyless entry not unlocking

My audi won't start. Had a rough start up right before it went out and revved the engine and got it to start. Now it won't turn over, makes a clicking sound. Also the keyless entry seems to be failing and it takes a couple times to get it to unlock the doors. Is it the starter?

Sounds like you maybe killed the battery trying to get it started. Did you?

Yep triple a came out and the battery had a dead cell. Replaced it! I was worried it was something worse because I always thought if you had a dead battery nothing would light up, turns out the battery just had a dead cell therefore was able to power up enought to turn lights on but not start. Phew dodged a bullet thougth it was the starter!
