Hi. Im getting a load whining noise from the engine bay. There are no warning lights on. The car starts and goes into gear and drives.I am sure its not a belt problem.I need to drive the car home tomorrow. What do you think. Thankyou.

Hi there,

This may be a bearing on the alternator, A/C or water pump, you really should get a mechanic to have a listen before you drive any distance, better to be safe than have a break down when you least need it.
