2004 Audi A3 coolant

My audi is drinking far to much coolant, I toped it up 2 days ago to just over the max and already its half gone. Ive checked the oil cap etc and theres no sines of the head gasket gone so what could it be? Cheers

Hi, I had the same problem, see my posting, it turned out to be a hairline fracture of the cylinder head which dribbled coolant into No1 Cylinder. Ended up with a new head replacement at  1044! - Apparently Audi quite openly say it's a common problem, sorry!
