Alternator fuse location

Hi, I am not getting anything at all when I turn the key. Can start the car with a jump, but the electrical acts really weird while driving. Thinking it is an alternator problem. Wanted to check the fuse before buying a new alternator, but have no idea where it is located. Center fuse box says power alternator fuse, but is only three amps, so I know this cannot be the right one. Any help would be appreciated.

Runs with a jump tells me battery is at fault. The fact that it runs after jump means alternator is working. Jump and take to an auto parts have battery tested.

Thank you for your quick reply. The battery is brand new so I am still feeling like it has something to do with the alternator, but I do not know where the fuse is located.

There is no alternator fuse even though battery is new it starts with a jump, so battery /connections/cables are the fault.
