Sometimes I need more information in order to answer a question correctly.
Any thoughts from the group on this?

G'Day Doc,

We all suffer from this lack of input, and miss information and half truths not only here but in business as well, there is no real fix for this as you can only do so much with the information supplied, the trouble is that so many that come here for help have no idea as to what they are talking about and can miss vital bits of information, so we do what we can, and take the slap on the back and the kick in the arse with equal cheer. Then that leads on to the other question. How much information and time do you spend on someone that has not a clue or the facilities to go about the repairs required?

Hi Doc,

I agree with Mark and that is the reason I sometimes don't want to answer first but ask questions in return to get more info.
