When I go to shift my Forester and push in the clutch I hear what sounds like spinning gears. I also hear a similar noise when I am driving slow in 1st and 2nd gear around 25000 rpm's. What could this be from and how do I go about fixing it? Thanks.

Possible through out bearing. Maybe time to think about doing a clutch as a faulty through out bearing can apply uneven force to the pressure plate and weaken it as well.I would have the noise verified locally by someone who knows Subaru
