97 Tohoe plz help!

I did lower intake gaskets (5.7), had to remove my distributer. Well I guess I didn't mark the position very well because now the truck will barely start, when it does only runes for about 5 sec the turnes off. It spits and sputters and puffes smoke out of throttle body. Also the check engine light came on. :Evil: The truck ran fine before.

Put number one onTDC line the dist up with the correct post on the cap, (look under it to verify where it is. That is a Corrected order cap)
