97 ranger no oil pressure at the gauge

any ideas? already changed the sending unit , oil gauge, and the cluster.. still nothing on the gauge. help!

Have you checked with a mechanical pressure guage to see if you are in fact getting any oil pressure?

no i brainstormed and had to pull the ac comp. off in order to pull up the sending unit wire to take a better look at it. it ended up being a broken connection inside the insultated cover. couldn't see from below.
