Ok I was driving today and out of no where my car started sputtering/hesitating on acceleration.

if I accelerate slowly its fine but if I accelerate quickly it sputters/hesitates like its limited

and after 4000 or so rpms on acceleration the sputter stops.

now if I let it just sit and idel it runs fine and smooth you dont really hear any missing in the exzhaust or any sputtering/hesitating of any sort.

also on the freeway once im at freeway speeds theres no sputrtering/hesitating I can accelerate in 5th gear and pick up speed quick and no sputter

now heres the funny thing also its selective it doesnt do all of the pre listed stuff all the time.

theres no check engin light on and no smoke out the exzhaust also it has a new catylitic converter and muffler and the piping is good please help if possible.

I have a 95 Acura Integra RS with a little over 200,000 km and it has the same problem with hesitating and I find it happens at cooler temperatures and if you havent checked your fuel filter and changed it then it could be your fuel injectors or fuel pump. I have yet to bring mine to a mechanic but I can almost guarantee they will tell you the same thing.
