Someone please help me, it is my only vehicle and i'm stuck I have replaced the map sensor, vacuum lines, coil pack, wires, plugs, &tried a new ECM, nothing has solved my dilemma, the van idles fine but cant push gas pedal over 1800rpm when cold, 2200 when warm, puffs a little black smoke from tail pipe when it is pushed to 2000 rpm, spits&sputters really bad when pedal is pushed please , please, please help, [question#2]. Also the engine light is on but no codes are being thrown I just dont understand the van will drive but I have to push the gas really slowly to accelerate or it sputters and wont shift, have a rebuilt tranny van has 288830 miles HELP, HELP. HELP.

Have you tried replacing the fuel filter and checking you fuel pump for accurate pressure? Also while the engine is running go under the hood and grab all the spark plug wires and rev the engine at the same time. If something happens and you will know when it does replace the wires. Good luck :)
