94 Ranger 4WD hubs?

I was wondering if it is possible to replace my auto locking hubs with manual locking hubs? I just feel that it would be more dependable if I could. And if so, are there any special modifications that need to be done in order to do so? Thanks in advance.

None needed, just a little time and patience. I replaced my auto hubs with manual ones not too long ago on my full size bronco. It's pretty simple really. Just take the cover off, make sure you pull out all the retaining clips and everything before you start pulling on it. Then it's the opposite with the new hubs which are usually easier and have less parts to go it. Let us know how it goes or if you have any problems, good luck!
