91 Grand Prix. Trouble code 41

Hey guy's this trouble code I have for my grand prix says it's code 41 looked it up and it says "cylinder error" So what does that mean exactly? Always a great car 112,000 mi. 2.3 Engine overhead cam 1 owner very well taken care of So is it garbage now?Heheh no lack in proformance or anything at all really just the check engine light. Thx.

Ehhhhmmmm.

41 Cylinder Select Error (Faulty or Incorrect Mem-Cal)

Mem-Cal is the PROM that controls the PCM/ECM.
Trouble Code 41 indicates an incorrect MEM-CAL has been installed or it is faulty and it must be replaced.

Possible causes include:
1) Faulty connection due to MEM-CAL not locked in place.
2) Incorrect MEM-CAL installed.
3) Faulty MEM-CAL
