I have a 1988 Prelude 2.0SI, 118,000 miles, that started overheating out of the blue last Friday night. i added coolant the next day, but it still was running hot and redlining the temp gauge even after a 1/2 mile trip. the engine was very dirty, and I could not spot any leaks, etc., so I sprayed on some cleaner and rinsed with water yesterday. Now today, the car starts, but runs very rough. any ideas???

im not sure on the layout of that engine in particular but check the injector connections for pools of water and take off the distributor cap and look for any moisture...start with that tell me what you find....good luck :0
