My 2002 Grand Prix uses or burns or goes somewhere about 2 quarts of oil between regular oil changes. (2000-3000 miles) The dealer has already replaced the valve seals? (Not sure what that is) that didn't help. Now they are telling me that this is normal and there is nothing I can do. This has been happening way before my warranty went off and now It is getting worse. I do not see blue smoke coming out of the tail pipe nor do I see oil on the ground below the car. Any ideas where the oil may be going? Your help is needed.

Another place you can check for oil leak, is ring blowby, take your air cleaner off. See if there is a bunch of oil in the filter and the air filter, if so. Its pushing the excess oil out through there which means you need to replace the piston rings.
