Hi, I have a question about this odd clicking noise that has developed over the last few months. It only occurs after I've started the car, and it only comes and goes about every 15-30 seconds for about 10 minutes or less. Over a short time, it usually stops. But whenever I start the car, the clicking continues. It seems to be coming from inside the dashboard or at least somewhere in the front of the car (inside). What do you think it may be? Thanks.

You have a broken stepper motor armature. This is a very common problem on this model. The stepper motors are the components that control your heating and AC directional flow. This model is notorious for one particular armature breaking and causing a clicking sound at start up during initilization of the system, Its behind the dash next to the stereo head unit on the drivers side. If you change direction of your airflow with the AC and heat you will here it click. This is something that should cost about 3 hours labor and a $20-30 part. It requires disassembly of the center portion of the dash.
