Blowing white smoke thru the vents when turning on the defrosters or the heat, could it be a heater core?

Sure sounds like it. Does it have the sweet smell of antifreeze?

To be honest, my wife drives the car and she says, are you ready for this?It smells like a burnt cheez it, how she knows what a burnt cheese it smwlls like is beyond me.I quess I'll have to drive it around a bit, I figured the smoke coming thru the vents would be a dead give away.
