I have a 91 legacy wagon with 157000 miles on it. When I turn corners either forward or backing up it vibrates and binds up as if I had the steering wheel locked tight. Also when I start the car, the power light comes on on the dash, then goes off as it should, but then comes back on & blinks 15 or 16 times. Is that a code for what is wrong & can someone help me please? Is it going to cost me a fortune to fix?

There are afew things it could be, ball joints not lubed, wheel bearing going bad, cv joint on the axle hanging up. Do you do work on it youself? After checking let me know what you find.

Your suby has developed what is called torque bindage. This occurs when there is a problem with the transfer clutches, transfer clutch silinoid, TCM Etc. The power light flashing is indicating a code has been set The most common thing to fail is the silinoid. Under the hood back by the fire wall you will see a fuse holder that says FWD put a fuse in it and it will disable the All wheel drive system. Then go drive the car and see if the symtom is gone. If it is you will know we are on the right track. Hope that helps you out
