1985 Questions for all other cars

hi. When we drive our 1995 tornado there is a terrible chemical smell that fills the car. It irritates our eyes and u can hardly breathe. Do u know what this could possibly be? Is it an expensive issue? Thank you.

Hi fadiya,

If the smell is acidic, it could be a bad battery or overcharging of the alternator.

If the smell is other then that, you could hacve a bad catalytic converteror something wrong with the exhaust system.

As to the cost of repair, it would depend on what it is.
