1959 Questions for all other cars

Hi got a curly one for you. I have a veteran car 1914
Willys overland, and I would like to replace the universal joint with a constant velocity joint do you think this is possible. One end would be fixed on to the tail shalft and the other end would need to move about 30 mm so the clutch can operate.

My question is do they have cvs joints that you could change the ends on to suit what I want to do, as you would do with the old uni joint.

Hoping to hear from you soon John Mc

Hi John,

Daihatsu Terios AWD uses a front prop shaft that utilises a CV joint but is not very reliable as it fails quite often.

Modification is possible as long as you have the specifications. Get a machinist to help out.
