04 4.7 in a 1500 4X4 is this enough eng to tow

Hello, looking at one, I have a 98 1500 2WL 5.9, towing 3200lb boat and trl loaded and 4 people. It does a great job. Really liking the rear doors on the 04, for two of the people, the lab and the golden. What could I expect in performance loss?

I suspect a good bit depending on the road. With that weight about 25%-40% as well as fuel mileage. Good luck

I have one in my other truck an 04 Dakota 2x4 and I pull a 12' dual axle trailer truck rated 6000 lb. I pulled 5000
