Yesterday I was topping off the oil and as I started to pour it looked a bit red. I stopped. I believe someone put transmission fluid in a bottle of that said oil. I would say I put in a 1/4 of a quart give or take. Likely less than that. I assume this will not cause any harm. Should I let it be or change it again?

Hello,

Adding transmission fluid in oil reduces the effectiveness and efficiency of the engine oil. With having just, a 1/4 of a quart it likely be okay.
However, I would recommend changing out the oil and filter to be on the safe side.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
