Recently my car can't accelerate at all. I rev it up till 3500 rpms but it takes so long for it to gain speed. And after I turn off the engine and get out, it smells like brunt rubber. What do I need to do?

Are you sure your parking brake is off? That would be the source of the smell. If the parking brake is off sounds like a transmission issue. Is it an automatic. The torque converter could be fried but typically you don't smell anything from that. If a stick it would be a fried clutch and that would smell.
