Transmission problem
1996 Acura TL 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 98.436 miles

I have a 96' Acura TL that show the codes P0141(sensor heater circuit malfunction), P0700(trans control system malfunction), and P0730(gear ratio incorrect). What does this mean, and how much trouble am I in?

Hi Faro,

Thank you for the donation.

DTC P0141 - HO2S HEATER MALFUNCTION

This could range from loose wiring to a bad sensor or PCM.

P0700 is a code retrieved when using generic scanners. The actual fault should be P0730.

The following would give you an idea what you might be in for.
