it happen last week that every time I slow or stop at the light it die, it take couple time to start up and sometime I have to hold down on gas pedal and in gear to run the car again, and when it run sometime it run smooth til it happen again, sometime they won't die at all, and the eng. Light been on all these times, couple times it give a quick jerk on the drive line and also when slow down it also happen.

Get a free scan done at Autozone to retrieve the trouble code for the CEL indicating and let me know the EXACT codes so I can understand the problem better.

Did the CEL indicate before the problem started?
Do you have any overheating or coolant losses issues?
Was any repairs carried out prior to this occurring?

I have took the car to Autozone for code test, it show I need new sparkplugs, throttle sensor, Mass intake sensor, but the car still have the problem when I start it up, it wont hold the idles, it keep dieing and only time I have to hold the gas pedal for 20 seconds before it hold n wont die, but the idle were 1500 rpm, it drive ok, but when I stop and turn off the engine I have to do it again, if I push the pedal up to 3000 rpm and let it go gas pedal, it die.

I need the EXACT trouble codes. It would allow me to understand the problem. A description of the problem is of no use as different scanners provides different description and can mean 2 different thing.

No scanner would tell you that you need new spark plugs. It might tell you misfiring which does not necessarily mean the spark plugs are bad.

Do not attempt to replace anything without doing a diagnosis and confirming the part is faulty.

This is the code they print out for me. Po121, po171, po174, po303. They told me to replaced the throttle sensor, Mass sensor wich I did, I also replaced new spark plugs and new fuel filter, now everytime I start up the car it shut the eng. Right off, I have to hold down on the gas pedal for 20 sec. Or til it warm up, and the idle stay on high up to 3000 rpm.

P0121 = Throttle Position (TP ) circuit performance.
An error in the TP circuit and it could be loose wireharness, faulty TP sensor or it is out of adjustment. It could be caused by other sensors providing incorrect information to the computer or a bad MAP sensor.

P0171 = Bank 1 system too lean
P0174 = Bank 2 system too lean
It means the engine is running lean, inisufficient fuel is getting to the cylinders and could be the after effect of P0121. Clogged fuel filter and vacumn leakages are other possible causes.

P0303 = Cylinder # 3 is misfiring. Possible causes are faulty spark plugs or related parts, low compression or a bad injector.

Were the codes retrieved before or after the replacement of the parts? If before, get another scan done and let me know what codes are present. Ensure the previous codes were erased before a test drive and retrieving the codes.

Today I have taken the car to jiffi lubes for injectors clean, they also reset all the codes include the eng. Light, it run ok for 1min. Then the the light eng. Back on again, I took it back to Autozone for rescaned, now it show codes po171, po174and po 303, the car won't keep the idle, it turn right off as soon I let go the key with out the gas pedal holding down, after 20 seconds or more it stay at the 3000 rpms, it running smooth those.I have checks everything and see no air hose leak, so far I have replace new sparkplugs, fuel filter, throttle sensor, Maf sensor, and clean real good on the body throttle. Still the problem when i'm not holding down gas pedal. But when I got it drive, it never die.

Problem is with the idling system and since the idling speed is erratic and can stay at 3000 rpm, it could be a faulty PCM.

P303 should be check first in terms of priorority.

Get a compression test done to see if all cylinders are within specs.

Performance valve clearance adjustments, strongly recommended.

Swap cylinder # 3 ignition coil with cylinder # 5 and fuel injector with # 1. This would help to understand if the problem is related to the injector or ignition coil.

I did as you told me to.I switch the #3 to #5 and did the injector to #1, I start up it run nomal for 10 second roughly, then it shut off with the big sound of swissh of air, it shut off by it self, I try again with gas pedal down it run fine, but when I let it go, it shut right off.
Now I switch it back as it is. It happen same as I switch earlyer.

After switching the fuel injector and coil, get a scan done to see if the trouble codes are similar.
