2001 Acura MDX engine dies

When driving vechile it will just die it is very scarey, after a while it will start back up. This has been going on for about 6 months, no lights on the dashboard come up and they have hook it up to the diagnostic and nothing comes up. Can you please help.

Hi Yolanda Vargas,

When engine stalled, does the dash indicator lights come on immediately?

If the difficulty in starting occurs when it stalled, I would suggest checking the PGM-FI main relay.

Yeah I would suggest the same. First check the indicator lights, the problem may be related with the PGM-FI itself!
