1997 Acura Integra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 150.00 miles

CAR HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED TO NEED A NEW DISTRIBUTOR. PART $100.00 LABOR $400.00. IS IT THAT LABOR INTENSIVE TO REPLACE? I HAVE DONE DISTRIBUTORS IN OLDER GM 5.7L MOTORS. IS IT MORE COMPLEX OR THE SAME? IS THE DISTRIBUTOR IN A FUNKY PLACE?

Hello,

Well, I don't think so. If I am not mistaken they are similar to honda's. And are simple to replace. They don't have the shaft like the GM's. You can look up the part at NAPAOnline. Com to see what the distributor looks like and determine for your self haw simple or hard it may be.
