You mean the part where the key inserts (ignition lock cylinder) or the actual switch?

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Integra

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the dashboard lower panel, left knee bolster and left kick panel.
3. Remove the steering wheel. Remove the steering column covers.
4. Center punch each of the shear bolts and drill the heads off with a 3 / 16 in. Drill bit. Be sure to be careful not to damage the switch body when removing the shear head.
5. Remove the shear bolts from the switch body.

To install:

6. Install the new ignition switch without the key inserted. Loosely tighten the new shear bolts. Make sure the projection of the ignition switch is aligned with the hole in the steering column.
7. Insert the ignition key and check for proper operation of the steering wheel lock and that the ignition key turns freely.
8. Tighten the shear bolts until the heads twist off.
