1997 Acura CL Lights Flashing

My Acura CL alarm lights blink uncontrollably every little while, to the point where it kills my battery. The alarm does not sound though. I tried sticking the key in and deactivating the alarm, but it still goes off every little while and I can never be there to catch it. Any hints to what it could be would be great to look for.

If the security lights are blinking without sounding, it is possible the horn is faulty but the system is working.

Intermittent triggering of the alarm are mostly due to door or hood swithes out of adjustment and vibrations to the vehcle would cause the alarm to trigger.

Do you have door ajar warning indicator light intermittently showing while driving?

No, I have never seen the door ajar sign go off while driving.

If that is the case, the most likely cause would be the hood switch. Is does not indicate on the dash. Disconnect the switch and operate the alarm without the switch and test for a few days to see if the problem occurs. You can try adjusting the switch first.
