Hi, my truck when I try to accelerate in over drive the rod will not go up it goes to 2,500 or 3,000 rpm's. If I put it in regular drive it accelerates. Sometimes that is not the case. The fuel pump is two years old and the fuel filter is the same. I get codes 28 32 and 33. It is an obd1 system. This is the second time the EGR will be replaced. The first one was old the second one is only one years old. Not sure if this has anything to do with the catalytic converter. I would say it needs changed, it is at least ten years old or more. Thanks for any help. I can also take a video of what I was talking about for the rpm's.

Yes, a video will help so we can see what is going on so we do not have to guess. Also, how many miles does it have in it?

Cheers, Ken

It only would go to 3,000 rpm's and would not go any farther.

Thanks for the video. This looks like you have a plugged exhaust or catalytic converters. Here is a guide that will help you test the catalytic converters and see if the exhaust is causing the problem:

Please run down this guide and report back.

Cheers, Ken
