Intermittent acceleration issue

Hi, hope you guys understand what i'm trying to ask. My car from start no problems when in drive motion when I put slight power on acceleration there is no power (revs and speed). When I take my foot off the accelerator then back on then I have power does it most of the day not all the time.

Is the check engine light on? Also, have you checked to see if there is a possible plugged catalytic converter?

No engine light comes on. No haven't check catalytic converter yet. Will have it checked. Thank you for your help.
