For the last month or so, my brake, ABS, and traction control lights remained on after starting the car. Took it to someone I trust and was shocked at my bill.

He replaced my ABS Control Unit. I could not believe the price $872.00 for the part and total price of the job $1,255.00.

Picked up my car and traction control light still on. He told me the computer needed to recycle and to use it for a week and if it did not go out to bring it back and he would have the computer programmed again.

I am clueless about this stuff. Does this sound okay to you?

The price is not far off for the job, but his excuse about the light still being on was just bogus and a way to get you to pay the bill and put off the debate until later. There is still an issue with the system that he should have resolved right then.
