A/C was working fine then the next morning it was not. I checked the refrigerant, it is full, the compressor is turning fine but it just blows hot air.

Hi,

If the compressor is engaging and the freon is at the correct level, my first suspect would be the blend air door actuator.

The blend air door actuator is what determines the air temperature entering the interior.

This one is a little difficult to replace because you need to remove the driver's side knee airbag, so we need to make sure.

Do you notice any ticking or clicking coming from under the dash? Also, can you control the heater? In other words, can you change from ambient air temperature entering the vehicle to heat?

Let me know.

Check #3 says to check the condenser fan, I let it run for a couple of minutes with the A/C control at full blast and the fan did not come on. Where do I go from here?

Hi,

If the fan isn't turning on, it could be related to A/C failure. At this point, you really need to check the charge. If possible, could you record the compressor clutch engagement with the engine running and the A/C on? Also, feel the steel A/C hoses to see if there is a temperature change.

Let me know.

The metal refrigerant hose is not cold, it is warm.

The refrigerant was the first thing I checked, and it is full and the compressor clutch engagement is running.

If everything is working under the hood, then the next thing to check would be the blend door actuator. Have you checked that?

Also, if possible, could you let me know both the static system pressure and the high/low pressure reading when the compressor is engaged?

I had visibly checked the following relays: A/C compressor relay, A/C clutch relay, coolant pump relay, however it seems that is not a good way to check them. I will recheck them by switching with another similar working relay before I jump to conclude it is the fan.
