It was running took it to autozone to check starter

98 camry v4,190000 miles, car won't start when it was running took it to autozone to check starter, they tested and said the starter passed, but alternator failed two tests, so I took out alternator had them do a bench test and it failed again luckly it was only 5 months old and they gave me a new one for free I installed new alternator, the three prong plug that plugs into alternator wouldn't come out was very corroded white and I broke the plastic cover leaving only the three leads left to plug in not sure if I ruined the wire/plug but I was able to plug the three leads into the alternator, now with new one in it still won't start its turning over when I jump it but won't start, right now its been freezing temps negative so I took battery out of car to warm up inside and charge please help im lost

Is the starter engaging or does it seem as though the battery is dead?

Its clicking super fast when I try to start without jump, but if I jump the car meaning it has full power, it turns over like its going to start and doesn't click at all, sounds like its soo close to starting but won't finish. I also noticed my battery was loose so I took it out and looked like the water levels were low from possibly smashing around while I was driving so I filled the 6 holes up higher and am charging cause its -4 outside
