Neutral safety switch how to replace

I ordered a new switch and it came with a new connector. Updated?

I have a c6 transmission.

My old switch has 8 metal tabs connectors the new neutral switch has 4.

Any ideas? Thanks

Hello, I'm Danny.

You might have purchased the wrong switch. I came across this on the AutoZone website. This has 8 tabs like your old one. I've attached a picture below. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
