I had my vehicle checked for an electrical issue. My sunroof was not opening. After many hours, they said after all the manual troubleshooting, they just had to reprogram it. Now, my left visor snapped off, and my right visor looks loose like it is about to snap off. They were fine before the sunroof issue. Was there a possibility that they manually checked wiring through where the sunshade visors are attached? I can noy find any diagram of how the sunroof wiring runs through the vehicle. I would like to know if this incident was connected to the manual sunroof wiring troubleshooting. Please help!

Yes, they need to remove the headliner to do there testing I would go back and show them the problem, here is the wiring diagrams for the sunroof so you can see how it works and I have also included the sunroof components, so you know where they are. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

My vizors were in great condition. After the sunroof issue. They were both loose. And one broke off. When we went back to let them know this, they said they did not need to go through the visors to check all sunroof wiring manually. I should have known better. You have no idea how much you helped. I'm assuming they just did not put them back correctly. But I am bothered by the possibility of a lie. I shouldn't have to pay for this. I take care of my vehicle :(. Thank you so much for your help. I hope I can get some advice on what to do next.

Yep, the retainer clips are broken, you will need to call the ford parts department to see how these parts are serviced or get used parts from the auto wreckers. Sorry about that.
