Jerks at low speed

Car jerks when moving at full stop or red traffic light then drives normal, then starts jerking again in first, second and sometimes third gear.

The 2014 Maxima is equipped with a CVT transmission, and it does not have traditional gears.
These CVTs are quite problematic. Most of the time the jerking will require rebuilding or replacement of the transmission.

Now just so we cover the basics, please make sure the fluid is the correct level and in good condition. As low fluid can trigger these types of issues.

Is your check engine light illuminated? Many times, with transmission issues it will trigger that light. If so scanning and retrieving the codes can help with the diagnostics.

If the fluid level and condition is good, then this could be an internal issue of the CVT.
