After a rear-end collision, the trunk looks lifted off of the car and will not close right. Is this a result of the hinges being bent or what? Trying to find out what all needs to be replaced. Was hit by a Tahoe but there wasn't a lot of damage just that the bumper kit got messed up and the trunk got dented inward and now is lifted and Im unsure about what exactly needs to be done to it to get the trunk to close correctly again and align the right way with the car. Wanted to look into it before taking it into a shop. Thanks

You're the one who can see the damage. We should be asking you what is needed. Part of what they do at body shops is provide written estimates after inspecting the car, and most do that for free. You may have to leave the car with them for a while to give them time to see which parts can be fixed and which ones are less expensive to replace.
